Tém:éxw te Sásq’ets

Sasquatch is the anglicised version of Sásq'ets, meaning “hairy man” in Halq'emeylem, the dialect of the Sts'ailes, a First Nations tribe whose territory is located North of the Harrison River in British Columbia. There is a mountain within this region called Sásq'ets Tel meaning ‘the place where Sasquatch gather’. It was here that stories of the Sasquatch first emerged.

Tém:éxw te Sásq’ets, translating to Land of the Sasquatch, is a photobook and gallery installation.
